The new version of Telegram has video stickers that can be created from ordinary video files, more compact animations and additional emoji for reactions, a button to go to unwatched reactions, as well as quick navigation through recently opened chats and other innovations.

Now, to create new sticker packs, just write to the @stickers bot and follow its instructions. You can also install new stickers created by other users. More information about creating stickers is collected in this document. Developers can create their own apps to create and transfer stickers to Telegram using the Sticker Import API.

Animations when sending reactions have become more compact. To send a larger animation, just hold your finger on the emoji in the reactions menu. Reactions are now synchronized for the sender and recipient - the animation will start simultaneously for all participants in the conversation. This update added 5 new emojis to the list of available reactions. These emoji can also be used as interactive emoji.

You can quickly return to the desired chat. To choose which chat to return to, hold the back button with your finger. The list will contain those chats that you went to from forwarded messages, via links, short addresses, from profiles, and so on.

There were also improvements to call quality, translation support for quick web browsing (as well as a translation of the "About Me" field on iOS), the ability to send silent messages via the Share menu, and many other improvements.

The iOS app has new icon animations in the bottom bar when switching between sections.
