According to the plot of the psychological thriller, 30-year-old successful programmer Odintsov (Vladimir Zherebtsov) is forced to use his knowledge for the benefit of unknown intruders - they kidnap his wife and small child, hacking into a rich "smart house". The wife, in turn, begins to sympathize with the kidnapper. “I play a character that at first glance seems like a clear antagonist. He is cold-blooded, cruel and without further ado will turn any threats into reality. Throughout each series, my hero will be more revealed, ”says Viktor Dobronravov.

"Techie" is divided into two parallel stories - from the present and the past. In the first story, Odintsov is looking for an opportunity to deal with the intruders; in the second story, the viewer gets acquainted with the details of his past. “Every second, the main character literally faces a question of life and death (both his own and family members). The choice Odintsov has to make is always about how far he is willing to go. In the course of revealing the plot, the viewer will learn what the hero can go through in order to save both his family and, ultimately, himself, ”the authors of the series say.

Ekaterina Olkina, Fedor Lavrov, Linda Lapinsh, Oleg Taktarov, Kirill Polukhin, Anna Lutseva, Boris Khvoshnyansky, Anna Bachalova, Vladimir Seleznev and others also played in Tekhnar.
