Cynthia Nixon responds to Miranda's criticism in Sex and the City sequel

Actress Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda in the Sex and the City series and its sequel And Just So, responded to viewers' criticism of her character in an interview with Vogue.

She found it strange that viewers didn't like the change in character Miranda left her husband and plunged headlong into an affair with a non-binary person. “First of all, Miranda is brave, she goes forward. She doesn't know where, but she knows to move. And she's always been like that, hasn't she? Miranda is smart, stubborn, but not balanced. She was always the elephant in the china shop,” says Nixon.

In addition, Nixon considers her heroine to be courageous. “She is quitting a promising job and is trying to get more out of life again. As Miranda says, we are not old, we are 55. Yes, at this time you are closer to the end than to the beginning. But if you don’t like something, there’s still a lot you can change,” she says.

Earlier, Sarah Jessica Parker explained why she does not want to act with another Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall.
