Actress Uma Thurman has admitted that the third installment of the Kill Bill franchise won't hit theaters in the near future. Her words leads Deadline.

“I don’t see it [the film] on the horizon. And I hate disappointing people. Everyone wants it out, but I don't think it will happen soon," Thurman said.

Rumors about a sequel to Kill Bill have been going on for 15 years. Thurman, who starred in the first two parts, said that the creators of the project seriously discussed the continuation of the cult saga.

In 2019, Kill Bill director Quentin Tarantino admitted that he plans to start work on the third part no earlier than 2022. He noted that the triquel will be different from the first two parts. Tarantino also stressed that he would not want to film "some kind of ridiculous adventure."
