Russia - The drama Dina and Doberman will tell about the four-legged heroes of the Great Patriotic War

Russia (bbabo.net), - On Defender of the Fatherland Day, the premiere of the action-packed drama "Dina and Doberman" will take place. Air - on the NTV channel, at 19.40. The plot of the picture is based on the story of one of the most famous dogs of the Great Patriotic War, Dzhulbars, and the brave girl-dog breeder Dina Volkats. The main roles in the film were played by Yulia Afanasyeva and Andrey Frolov.

... 1950th year. During the filming of the Soviet western, the film group, recognizing the hero of the recent war in the filming dog Dzhulbars, ask his owner to tell about the exploits of the dog and about the legend of how he was carried on Stalin's tunic at the Victory Parade. The owner, who is called Doberman, calls the legend of the Parade a fairy tale, but remembers the rest in detail. In particular, on June 22, 1941, he, one of the country's leading dog breeders, was instructed to organize the training of tank destroyer dogs. For Doberman, the order to make suicide bombers out of dogs was very difficult, because from childhood he loved them more than people.

Doberman recalls how he was shunned by dog breeders and disliked by commanders, especially Captain Salfetnikov, who pathologically hated the dogs that had once caused him a severe wound. Salfetnikov, taking advantage of the fact that the hasty training of anti-tank dogs does not give quick results, regularly complains about the work of the Doberman to his superiors.

During one of the battles, Doberman meets Dzhulbars, who is so smart that he knocks out German tanks, while remaining alive. The Doberman begins to develop the talent of Dzhulbars and, using his example, achieves some success with other dogs. But because of this, Doberman has conflicts with the dog breeder Dina, the owner of Dzhulbars, who is unhappy that her dog is often taken to difficult special assignments.

"Firstly, there is a dog in this story. It is always more interesting when there are animals in addition to the artists - in our case, this is a dog that did everything so clearly and competently that we sometimes wondered how she could remember all this. Our Dzhulbars is amazing dog, we managed to find a common language with him from the very first minute. Secondly, this is a military history, a lot of shooting, explosions, tanks, etc. The biggest problem at the beginning of the war was that dogs were dying. And our heroes with Yulia they are trying to train dogs in such a way that they can drag a pack of explosives under the tank, throw it off and run away, while remaining alive.Thirdly, this is a story that actually happened. It is full of various interesting moments, heroic deeds and, of course , love," says Andrey Frolov, the performer of the role of Doberman.

"This is my first big military project. When I auditioned for the role of Dina, I fell in love with the script, because my heroine is selfless, amazing, sweet, kind. Of course, I studied the biography of Dina Volkats, and I had a big inner fear about what I should make my character. This is not just a fictional character, this is a real person - the first and only woman who held a commanding position in the mine detection service during the war. She proved that dogs are warriors who can blow up a bunch of tanks, their can be trained so that they can cope with the task and not die. This is a film about animals, about love and friendship, about high relationships, which will definitely not leave anyone indifferent, "says Yulia Afanasyeva, who plays the role of Dina.

The heroic life of Dzhulbars, who became the most famous dog of the Great Patriotic War, is overgrown with legends: from awarding him the medal "For Military Merit" to Stalin's order to carry a seriously wounded dog at the Victory Parade on the Generalissimo's personal tunic. Through the life path of Dzhulbars, viewers will also see the story of the complex front-line love of his mentors: the mature, stern and unsociable commander of the dog detachment Alexander Mazover and the young and courageous dog breeder Dina Volkats.
