The Latvian rock band Brainstorm has postponed their concert tour in Russia, according to the group's page on VKontakte.

The tour has been postponed indefinitely. “It is with great sadness that we announce the postponement of the Brainstorm Russian tour “A Year Without a Calendar”, including concerts on March 2 in St. Petersburg and March 4 in Moscow. Alas, circumstances are stronger than us, ”wrote the musicians. Concerts in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tula, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Ufa, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Pskov, Veliky Novgorod, Tver and Kaliningrad have been rescheduled.

New dates will be announced later, purchased tickets will be valid. “For now, we promise to be closer to you online and believerything will be fine,” the musicians wrote.

Earlier it was reported that Carnegie Hall in New York canceled performances by conductor Gergiev and pianist Matsuev. The reason for replacing Gergiev with Nézet-Séguin is not reported.
