The adventures of Vovka in the Far Away Kingdom have a sequel

Studio "Soyuzmultfilm" on the eve of the New Year will show a new cartoon about the adventures of "Vovka in the Far-away Kingdom", RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of the organization, Yuliana Slashcheva.

The short-length cartoon will be called "Vovka and Winter in the Far Away Kingdom". The tape based on the classic 1965 cartoon by Boris Stepantsev about the boy Vovka will be released on the Okko multimedia service and on the Soyuzmultfilm official YouTube channel on December 31st.

In the new cartoon, the main character once again goes to a magical land, where preparations are underway for the New Year. Here Vovka quarrels with Morozko, and the winter is canceled. Now Vovka has to return the winter and save the holiday.

The script was written by Maria Izotova, the project was directed by Alexei Vvedensky. The roles were voiced by the children of Russian showman Timur Rodriguez - Daniel (Vovka) and Miguel (Morozko), as well as dubbing actors - Larisa Brokhman (Pechka) and Diomid Vinogradov (Tsar and Helpers).

The TV premiere of the cartoon will take place on December 27 on the air of the STS Kids TV channel, after which it will be shown on the Karusel and Mult TV channels.

Earlier it was reported that in Russia on street screens showed a new series "Well, wait! Holidays".
