Whoever violated, alas, paid the price. Despite the advice, Kiss did go on a US tour. But first, COVID-19 was found on lead guitarist Paul Stanley, and in December lead bassist Gene Simmons also fell ill. The tour had to be canceled.

But many artists believe the pandemic will end in 2022 and world tours will resume. And they are already preparing new albums for release. Let's name the most expected ones.

Korn. "Requiem"

The video for the song Start The Healing, which became the pilot single for the album, has already collected almost 2.8 million views on YouTube.

Yes, this is the same good old Korn - impetuous and desperate vocals, sometimes turning into growling, now into gentle, almost insinuating intonations, overloaded guitars, a frantic chariot of drums ... And sudden changes in tension, where a whirlwind of emotions sometimes gives way to almost pastoral music keys. And also - action-packed lyrics, complex poetic images, metaphor, allegories and plenty of mysticism, empathy and heroic dedication.

The only song that has been published so far is Start The Healing - for example, a surreal story about death and rebirth surrounded by supernatural beings, nightmares, but at the same time - in the presence of both humanoids and the musicians themselves.

According to the director of the video, Tim Sassenti, it also symbolizes the beginning of a new era for Korn.

As the group said: “Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the associated inability to perform live, Requiem was created in completely different circumstances compared to our other albums. two decades: they experimented a lot and diligently recorded on analog tape the processes that opened up a new sound and texture in their music ... "Bi-2"

This video was filmed at the June concert of "Bi-2" in the empty because of the Luzhniki pandemic. The single "We Don't Need a Hero" will be included in the band's 11th studio album, which she has been recording all year. Other novelties that should also make it to the unnamed LP are "Hell", "Ashes" and "Depression".

In a recent interview with "Bi-2" they said that they owe fans 14 concerts, postponed from 2021. One of them is in the Czech Republic, the other is in Germany, the rest are in Russia. Obviously, for the resumption of the tour, the disc will be released. Although it is still difficult to guess now.

The musicians began work on a new disc in studios in London and Los Angeles in the spring of 2020, when the epidemic did not seem dangerous yet. And on April 23, they filmed a very dramatic and emotional, but at the same time apocalyptic video Living In a Ghost City for the first of the recorded songs. And they haven't had such bright, juicy and dynamic hits since the mid-2000s!

But soon, obeying the doctors, the "rollings" went home - Jagger to New York, Richards to Los Angeles, the rest to London. However, they continued to write songs. Now there are already a lot of them. But it all depends on the pandemic: then the "rollings", attentive to their health, will meet again in the studio to finally record all the new songs.

The legendary British band decided to release their first album in almost a decade in 2022. In the beginning, she preceded it with this single, the title of which translates as "Lovely James". And in November released another one - Surrounded by Spies ("Surrounded by spies"). It was inspired, by the way, that Molko felt as if his neighbors were spying on him.

Musically and ideologically, Placebo has hardly changed: again the disturbed nerve of the melody, the hook chorus, the inner tension and the hysterical vocals of the singer and guitarist Brian Molko. And also - the spirit of nonconformity and challenge, ruffness, desperate drumming, precisely dosed electronic loops, computer programming ... In a word, everything for which fans love the cult English group since the 90s.

Again, everything revolves in a rapid whirlwind: tenderness, provocativeness, despair, loneliness, paranoia, courage. But the trio still includes those who have always ruled this psychedelic alternative ball: Brian Molko himself and Swedish drummer Stefan Olsdal.
