Russia (bbabo.net) - Russian regions from this year will be able to receive subsidies for projects to create tourism infrastructure in the centers of historic cities. The corresponding rules within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" were approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The main requirement for receiving funds will be the presence of a project for a single space of the city center with attractions, pedestrian zones, fairs and a navigation system.

The program will be able to participate in projects for cities with a population of five thousand to two million people. It should cover an area of ​​up to 100 hectares.

The average subsidy for each project will be approximately 250 million rubles.
