Russia - Macroeconomics, tax system and education in the spotlight of the second day of the Gaidar Forum 2022

Russia (bbabo.net), - On January 14, the Gaidar Forum, one of the country's key business events, will continue its work at the site of the Presidential Academy. During the second day, experts will discuss the priorities of the Russian economy and tax system, the development of private and public education, building a digital state, and many other topics. The event is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation. The Forum is organized by the Presidential Academy, the E.T. Gaidar and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.

One of the key events of the second day of the Forum will be the session "Russia and the World: Macroeconomic Priorities". Forum experts will discuss the phenomenon of global inflation, identify current challenges, as well as tasks and mechanisms for ensuring the country's future economic growth. The topic of macroeconomic policy will also be developed at the session "Macroeconomic Policy after the Pandemic", which will consider the prospects for recovery growth and the risks of new waves of the pandemic, structural shifts in the post-COVID economy, a new consumption pattern and changes in global production.

The traditional topic for discussion at the Gaidar Forum is education. This year, the Forum sessions will raise a debatable issue about the possibility of personalizing the education system. What is a human-centered system, what resources will be required to move to it, and what impact the pandemic and the development of distance technologies have had on education - experts will answer these and many other questions. Among other things, they will discuss the place of EdTech in the system of general and secondary education, talk about barriers to its development and technologies that will be in demand on the market over the next 2-3 years.

In addition, during the second day of the Forum, a discussion of the priorities of the domestic tax system will take place. The tax system of the Russian Federation is one of the key elements of the country's financial and economic system and determines not only the state of the budget system, but the entire Russian economy. Experts will highlight the main trends in its development, discuss international trends in taxation and share their personal vision of the Russian tax system by 2030.

Throughout the day, the Forum will also host the final stage of the first national award in the field of IT development "Digital Peaks 2021". The finalists will perform in 12 nominations and present their projects to the jury, which includes managers from 59 regions of the country.

Among other key sessions of the second day of the Gaidar Forum: "Circular economy: how to make money out of garbage"; "How to make public services truly accessible?"; "Will corporate culture eat digitalization for breakfast?"; "Education of children and freedom of creativity in modern Russia"; "The role of mass media in creating a new image of business and education"; as well as: the global food crisis and its manifestations in Russia, new management models, the "green agenda", ways to build a digital state, changes in consumer behavior after the pandemic, business education and many others.
