Hungarian government signs ‘strategic agreement’ with 59 large companies

The Hungarian government has already signed ‘strategic agreements’ with 59 large companies, of which 21 are in the automotive industry, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at a meeting of Parliament’s business development committee.
Szijjártó said that ten agreements had been signed with American companies, nine with German firms, seven with Japanese and five with Hungarian including Richter, Ganz, Waberer’s, Bonafarm and Kőrőstej.
Szijjártó reiterated that the Hungarian government signs ‘strategic agreements’ with companies that create workplaces, reinvest their profits locally, are in high value-added sectors, and “conduct themselves in a socially responsible way.”
