Russia (bbabo.net), - Every third loan in Moscow is issued to families with one child. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.

Moscow families with one child are actively using the opportunity to receive a preferential loan under the Family Mortgage program.
Since July 2021, it has become available to families with their first child, they received 3.2 thousand loans - 32% of the total number issued under this state program last year. Families with two children received 4.3 thousand loans - 44% of their number. Families with three children accounted for 18% of loans - 1.8 thousand. Kirill Purtov, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for Economic Policy and City Development, noted that Moscow accounts for almost 22 percent of the volume of family mortgage loans issued in Russia. Over the four years of the Family Mortgage program, more than 24.6 thousand Moscow families received preferential loans: 3.2 thousand families with one child, 14.8 thousand families with two children, 5.5 thousand families with three or more children, over 1.1 thousand families in which a child with a disability is brought up. The total volume of lending amounted to 151.7 billion rubles, 1.5 million sq. meters of housing with a total cost of 257 billion rubles.
The weighted average rate on loans in Moscow in 2021 was 4.76 percent - 0.01 percent less than the average for Russia, added the head of the Department of Economic Policy and City Development. Recall that under the Family Mortgage program, families with children born after January 1, 2018 can take out a mortgage loan at a reduced rate of up to 6 percent. The maximum mortgage amount in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Leningrad regions is 12 million rubles, in other regions - 6 million rubles. From April 1, 2021, the program was extended to individual housing construction, and from July 1, 2021, to families in which the first child was born since the beginning of the program. In August 2021, the program was extended until December 31, 2023. In addition to issuing a preferential loan, "Family Mortgage" allows you to refinance an existing mortgage loan at a preferential rate, provided that the family has a child born after January 1, 2018, and the previously taken loan complies with the terms of the program.
