Russia (bbabo.net), - From April 1, 2022, Information System Operator JSC, a joint venture between the Russian Post and Inter RAO, will become the operator of the state information system for housing and communal services (GIS housing and communal services). The new operator plans to make the system more transparent and provide users with a range of analytical tools.
According to the Russian Post, at the moment, together with Inter RAO, they are working out a phased plan for the further transformation of the GIS housing and communal services, including specific indicators, goals and objectives for its development and operation.
"There will be analytical tools in the system, with the help of which users will be able to check the correctness of accruals for housing and communal services, and other useful services. Already now, GIS allows you to collect a huge amount of data in the housing and communal services sector, for example, on personal accounts, accruals for housing and communal services and the technical characteristics of apartment buildings" , the department said.
To fill the GIS housing and communal services with data, automatic exchange of information with other federal state systems, including the unified state register of real estate and the GIS of migration and registration accounting, should be implemented. In addition, a number of legislative changes will need to be made. In particular, to give state housing supervision authorities the right to initiate inspections based on the data contained in the GIS housing and communal services.
According to Aleksey Laptev, Deputy General Director of Russian Post, the technical solutions and cloud services developed within the company will allow solving a number of tasks within the framework of the GIS housing and communal services.
"Russian Post has significant expertise in creating both high-load and innovative services. The EAS FPS system covers 42,000 branches throughout Russia, servicing millions of transactions daily, and the number of our customers with a simple electronic signature has already exceeded 48 million. In addition, services created on the basis of our Data Cloud, allow not only to track the path of each package, but also to analyze the congestion of routes and build predictive models," Laptev said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Construction reported that they were going to expand the functionality, update the structure of the GIS housing and communal services platform and modernize the mobile application.
The GIS housing and communal services was launched in 2016 on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation on the creation of a single resource for obtaining information on tariffs and the cost of housing and communal services, debts, as well as on the work of organizations of the communal complex.
