When applying for benefits on the portal of public services, it will automatically be accrued in the amount that is assigned in the region at the place of permanent residence of the woman, says Batalina. However, if available, you can also specify a temporary registration. The Pension Fund will check it against the bases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and calculate the payment from the subsistence level of the region in which the pregnant woman lives now.
According to the deputy minister, the payment can also be made if the woman does not have a residence permit at all, but she will need to confirm the actual location with any documents. For example, it can be a lease agreement, a certificate from a medical organization.
In order to receive a monthly pregnancy allowance, a woman must be registered with the antenatal clinic and belong to the category of low-income citizens (that is, the average per capita income of her family must be below the subsistence level in the region of residence). She does not need to confirm the need, it will be independently established by the Pension Fund in cooperation with other departments. If a woman registers at the antenatal clinic and applies for payment for public services before 12 weeks of pregnancy, then the allowance will be accrued to her from the sixth week. You can also apply after 12 weeks, but then the allowance will begin to be transferred from the date of registration of the application.
