Earlier, the media reported that PGNiG received a lawsuit from Gazprom to pay dividends from the profits of EuRoPol Gaz. It is reported that PGNiG owns, directly and indirectly, through its subsidiary Gas-Trading, 51.18% of the shares in the authorized capital of EuRoPol Gaz, 48.82% of the shares belong to Gazprom.
It also became known today that the European Court of General Jurisdiction (General Court) dismissed PGNiG's complaint against the decisions of the European Commission following the results of antitrust cases against Gazprom. This is a complaint filed by a Polish company in October 2018. The complaint concerned the decision of the European Commission, which charged Gazprom with violations in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia and a number of other countries. As a result of the consideration of the case in 2018, the EC imposed a number of obligations on the Russian company to work in certain countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
