Illegal buildings in Moscow decided to find from drones

Until the end of the first quarter of 2022, the Moscow State Inspectorate for Real Estate decided to use quadrocopters to find illegal buildings and violations of land laws. This is reported by the portal mos.ru.

Checks will be held in 70 districts of the capital, as a result of which drones examine more than 1.2 thousand square meters. km. Moreover, since the beginning of 2022, they have already checked more than 160 sq. km, where 37 violations were found.

“Additional checks will be carried out for violations. In February and March, another 1,200 square kilometers will be flown in 70 districts of Moscow. So, for example, quadrocopters will fly around the Ochakovo-Matveevskoye, Kuzminki, Mitino, Begovoi, Danilovsky, Babushkinsky districts and the Klenovskoye settlement in the TiNAO,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate.

According to the results of 2021, drones revealed more than 10 thousand unauthorized buildings, information about which was transferred to the district authorities. The owners of such objects usually receive an order to eliminate violations, that is, the object must be rebuilt, legalized or demolished.

The Moscow State Property Inspectorate has been using drones for inspections since 2019. One aircraft per shift can inspect up to 500 thousand square meters. m, while it would take a week for a person to survey such a territory.

At the end of January, Ovchinsky announced the start of checking the legality of the construction of apartments in Moscow. In total, the agency plans to inspect 600 buildings.
