During the reporting period, AI-92 gasoline did not change in price - 47.56 rubles per liter. The cost of the AI-95 brand increased by 8 kopecks - up to 51.58 rubles per liter, while the AI-98 brand and above added 21 kopecks in price - 59.90 rubles per liter.
At the same time, in percentage terms, compared to last week, the growth in average retail prices was 0%, AI-92 grades - minus 0.01%, AI-95, AI-98 and higher grades - 0.1%, and diesel fuel - 0 .2%.
As the press service of Rosstat explained, discrepancies in the statistics on interest and prices are due to the updating of data on fuel consumption in different regions. The average consumer price in the Russian Federation is formed as a weighted average, but taking into account the annually updated share of the consumption of gasoline and diesel fuel in different regions of the Russian Federation (this was done at the end of January -). Therefore, the decrease in the level of average prices for diesel fuel in Russia is associated with an increase in the share of its consumption in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, where a price lower than the national average was registered.
And the price index for gasoline and diesel fuel (percentage change - ) in the first week of February is calculated from prices for the current and previous week, taking into account new shares of consumption volumes in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the service explained.
For the period from January 29 to February 4, an increase in gasoline prices was noted in 31 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Most of all, it rose in price. Most of all, it rose in price in the Kemerovo and Chelyabinsk regions - by 0.5%. A decrease in gasoline prices was recorded in 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Most of all, it fell in price in the Komi Republic - by 0.7%.
At the observed gas stations in Moscow, AI-92 gasoline could be purchased at a price of 46.49 to 49.39 rubles, AI-95 - from 51.30 to 57.19 rubles, AI-98 - from 58.89 to 63.59 rubles per liter. In St. Petersburg, AI-92 brand gasoline cost from 45.90 to 48.23 rubles, AI-95 brand - from 50.30 to 53.69 rubles, AI-98 brand - from 59.70 to 61.90 rubles per liter.
Since the end of December 2021, AI-92 gasoline has risen in price by 1%, AI-95 gasoline by 1%, AI-98 by 1%, and diesel fuel has increased in price by 1.8%.
The consumer price index (inflation) from January 29 to February 4 rose by 0.29%. Growth since the beginning of the year - 1.16%.
