Gas supplies through Ukraine have dropped to 90.9 million cubic meters, while the capacity of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline remains unclaimed, Interfax reports.

At the same time, for the first time since December 21, a small volume of contracted gas - 1.6 million cubic meters - was carried through Yamal-Europe at night from February 1 to 2, from 0.00 to 8.00 Moscow time. After that, the obverse of gas through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline stopped.

Gas deliveries through the gas transmission system of Ukraine, compared with February 1, decreased by 10%, from 107 million cubic meters to 90.9 million cubic meters.

At the same time, the previous increase in supplies was gradual. According to the GTS Operator of Ukraine and the Slovak GTS operator Eustream, pumping could increase by 22% - on January 24, applications at the entrance to the Ukrainian GTS amounted to 58.75 million cubic meters per day against 47.98 million on January 21.

Gas transit through Ukraine to Slovakia increased even more - by 26%. So, on January 21, 33.39 million cubic meters were pumped through the border checkpoint between Slovakia and Ukraine, on January 24 - 42.07 million cubic meters.

Earlier, gas prices in Europe plummeted.
