Russia (bbabo.net), - Since this year, the Pension Fund of Russia has been providing a number of social support measures that were previously assigned and paid through social protection authorities. An application for one of these payments - an annual remuneration for work in areas of radioactive contamination - must be submitted by February 15, the FIU said on Monday.

This allowance is due to citizens working in areas of radioactive contamination for more than a year. The PFR branch for Moscow and the Moscow region recalled that the payment is declarative in nature. It is necessary to apply with an application and documents confirming the right to payment to the PFR customer service at the place of residence.

Required documents:

passport or other identity document;

radiation exposure certificate;

certificate from work about the length of service and the amount of remuneration.

The decision on the appointment of the payment is made within five working days from the date of submission of the application and the receipt by the Pension Fund of the necessary information of organizations and documents of the applicant. Notice of the decision is sent within three working days after the decision. Funds are paid within five working days after the decision on the appointment is made.
