Russia - Countries simplify entry rules for tourists

Russia (bbabo.net), - India cancels mandatory quarantine for foreigners arriving in the country from February 14, representatives of the tourism industry report. Tunisia also simplified the entry rules, Norway lifted the restrictions.

In India, tourists will no longer be required to take a PCR test a week after arrival. Tourists are free to travel around the country. Regular flights with India were restored in October 2021, but the destination was not popular with tourists due to quarantine, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) points out.

According to the updated rules, before traveling to India, tourists must fill out a form on a special website, indicating travel information for the last 14 days, ATOR clarifies. A negative COVID-19 test result taken 72 hours before the trip, or a certificate of completion of the full vaccination cycle, is also uploaded here.

Since February 15, Tunisia has lifted the five-day quarantine on arrival for the unvaccinated. You will need to present a negative PCR test result taken no more than 48 hours before check-in for a flight, or a negative result of an express test made no more than 24 hours before check-in. Pre-departure PCR tests for all vaccinated travelers over 18 have been cancelled. The vaccinated must present only a vaccination certificate with a QR code in English.

In Norway, from February 12, entry requirements for mandatory registration and a negative test before arrival were canceled. Vaccinated and unvaccinated Russian tourists no longer need to take tests and fill out an entry form when entering Norway.
