Bolivian Entrepreneurs Praise Cuban Software Products

Bolivian businessmen expressed interest in increasing cooperation with the Cuban software industry during the international forum of entrepreneurs and leaders in information technology (Felti 2015), which is held this week in Havana.

The systems engineer Marcelo Antezana, who represents the Netics company of Bolivia, told Prensa Latina at the venue that since 2010 have been carried out the integration of projects to implement informatics solutions with products from the Caribbean country.

As part of this collaboration the Bolivian engineer cited the establishment of a border control system with the use of Cuban software, technology for passport issuing centers and the implementation of a multi-biometric platform to support the police investigation, among others.

The participants of forum are businessmen and experts in information technologies from 50 companies of 12 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Uruguay, Venezuela, Canada, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba and Spain.
