Russia (bbabo.net), - More than 200 late defrauded real estate investors will receive compensation for apartments bought once. This was reported by the Territorial Development Fund (formerly the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Citizens - Participants in Shared Construction).

In January, the fund decided to pay additional compensation to 205 equity holders. The total amount of payments is 505 million rubles.

"These citizens applied to the bankruptcy trustee to include them in the registers of claims of participants in shared construction after their objects were considered by the Supervisory Board. According to the law, such equity holders are entitled only to monetary compensation, regardless of whether the decision was to complete construction or to pay ", - explained the head of the fund Konstantin Timofeev.

You can get into the register only until the end of the bankruptcy proceedings, Timofeev emphasized. After that, the arbitration manager no longer accepts applications from citizens.

In 2021, the fund approved additional payments for more than 850 people who were included in the registers after the decision of the Supervisory Board. About 1.85 billion rubles were allocated for payments to them.

Earlier in an interview, Timofeev noted that after the decision of the Supervisory Board, the number of affected equity holders increases by about 20%. In addition, the fund has to look for equity holders who are eligible, but do not come for payments. By the beginning of February, there were about 2 thousand of them.
