Russia - IPChain Lab determined the winners of the Global Creative Industries Accelerator competition in Skolkovo

Russia (bbabo.net), - As part of the demo day of the Global Creative Industries Accelerator competition program at the Skolkovo Technopark‎, ten best innovative projects in the media industry were identified. Together with the Skolkovo Foundation, IPChain Laboratory and G-Core Labs selected the winners. In total, the competition received 155 applications from technology teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, China, the USA, Ukraine and other countries. Almost half of the startups (40%) represented projects in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, 25% - content and streaming, 10 - infrastructure and 5% - cybersecurity.

In total, innovative solutions of 17 finalists were presented during the demo day. The IPChain laboratory selected the five best projects:

1st Place - AI Digital Content Creation Tool PHYGITAL+

2nd place - NFT marketplace for digital faces with its own video synthesis platform Digital Verse

3rd place - satellite system for projecting images on the night sky Orbital Display

4th place - automatic document processing service ApRbot

5th place - Andata multi-channel web analytics cloud service

G-Core Labs also identified five winners in their version:

1st place - the software allows real-time digitization, recognition (NLU), simultaneous translation, substitution of an audio fragment, adding metadata to audio / video files Basenji

2nd Place - Solution for tracking fast-moving objects using artificial intelligence and overlaying footage on computer graphics in real time DriveCast

3rd place - the first Russian DAM (Digital asset management) content management system PICVARIO

4th place - a universal software package for monitoring information systems with real-time event prediction GMonit

5th place - load testing tool for web applications, mobile applications and API services Boomq Enterprise.

The IPChain laboratory will provide the winners with a range of services for the protection of intellectual property in the amount of 100,000 to 2,500,000 rubles, as well as the opportunity to undergo practice-oriented training at the Digital IP Research and Education Center in the amount of 50,000 to 150,000 rubles.

From G-Core Labs, the winners will receive grants ranging from $2,000 to $40,000. The authors of the best ideas will be able to go through the Fast track program to obtain the status of a Skolkovo resident.

Members of the expert jury paid attention primarily to the practical applicability of the projects. The IPChain laboratory also assessed the potential for scaling, noted Valeria Brusnikina, IT project portfolio manager of the IPChain Association: ‎.

The Global Creative Industries accelerator aims to find innovative technology solutions for the media industry, including rights protection, delivery and monetization of audiovisual content.

The IPChain Laboratory began its work in April 2021 as part of a cooperation agreement between the Skolkovo Foundation and the IPChain Association. The IPChain laboratory became the first partner of Skolkovo in the field of creative industries.

IPChain Association was established in 2017. The IPChain Association is an official member of the Hyperledger global blockchain consortium created by the Linux Foundation to promote cross-industrial blockchain technologies.

In 2019, the IPChain Association became a member of the European LegalTech Association ELTA (European Legal Technology Association) - an association of leading European law and technology companies, start-ups and developer consortiums, and the Asia-Pacific Association for innovation and technology in the legal field ALITA (Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association).

In June 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of the public-state organization "Russian Center for the circulation of rights to the results of creative activity." The functions of the Center will include support for connecting corporate and public services and platforms owned by private companies with state participation to the IPChain infrastructure.
