So, from January 2017 to January 2022, cabbage became more expensive by 41.5 rubles (2017 - 18.46 rubles; 2022 - 59.96 rubles). Carrots rose from 26.98 rubles to 48.37 rubles, onions - from 22.43 rubles to 31.4 rubles, beets - from 22.52 rubles to 45.22 rubles, and potatoes rose in price from 20.8 ruble to 48.24 rubles.

The cost of pork rose from 261.07 rubles to 309.41 rubles. Garlic has become more expensive by 83.23 rubles - now its average price, according to Rosstat, is 345.86 rubles per kilogram.

In early February, the Ministry of Agriculture allowed the zeroing of trade margins on basic products. The department is confident that this practice will help increase the availability of socially significant products for the population.
