Russia - FAS signed a memorandum with IT companies on the principles of work in digital markets

Russia (bbabo.net), - On February 17, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) signed a memorandum with IT companies on joining the principles of interaction between participants in digital markets.

Among the signatories are the head of the FAS Maxim Shaskolsky, the Association of Internet Trade Companies (AKIT) and 11 companies - Yandex, Sberbank, Ozon, VK, Lamoda, Cyan, Russoft, Wildberries, 1C, Avito and Aliexpress.

The memorandum includes the basic principles of good faith approved by the digital market participants. They were developed at the end of last year at the FAS expert council on the development of competition in the field of IT technologies.

It was supposed to create the foundations of self-regulation in digital markets, which prevents unfair business behavior in relation to consumers, competitors and other persons. Other companies will be able to join the memorandum in the future.
