Russia - Belarusian airline canceled flights to Istanbul, Tel Aviv and Sochi

Russia (bbabo.net) - The air carrier of Belarus said Thursday that Belavia flights to Istanbul, Tel Aviv and Sochi have been cancelled. BelTA explains this decision of the airline by "closing part of Russian airspace for civil aviation flights."

Belavia suspends flights departing on February 24 on the routes: Minsk - Istanbul - Minsk, Minsk - Tel Aviv - Minsk, Minsk - Sochi - Minsk," the carrier's official press release says.

In addition, it became known that passengers of canceled flights can change the date of departure or return the cost of air tickets without deductions during the validity period of air tickets. The refund is made at the place of purchase of the ticket.

"The airline is monitoring the developments in the region and will immediately inform passengers about changes in the flight schedule. The decision to operate Belavia flights will be made only if flight safety is unconditionally ensured," the agency quotes the airline's message.
