“The peak of the accelerated price growth in the recent period has been passed, and the prices at gas stations are stabilizing, since tomorrow (03/17/2022) the first slight downward trend in the price of COR 95 gasoline will be noted. This indicates that in the coming days, applying averages for the last 14 days of Platts quotes, price action should follow a downward curve. At the same time, ANRE maintains maximum caution in formulating forecasts, constantly monitoring the unstable situation in the region, which can change from day," the ministry's press release says.

As of March 17, 2022, the following maximum retail prices for the main standard oil products are set:

Gasoline COR 95 – 27.69 lei/liter;

For diesel fuel - 26.92 lei/liter.

Thus, the price of diesel fuel increased by 0.01 lei, while the price of gasoline decreased by 0.03 lei.
