Kazakhstan plans to produce 85.7 million tons of oil in 2021

The head of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliyev said that oil production in the republic by the end of the current year will amount to 85.7 million tons. TASS reports.

“By the end of 2021, oil production is expected to reach 85.7 million tons, export - 67.6 million tons. According to the plan, oil production in the country will grow and will reach 104.2 million tons by 2030, ”the minister said.

Earlier, LUKOIL said that the price of oil by 2050 could rise to $ 380 per barrel, as payments for CO2 emissions would increase significantly. Under the Transformation scenario, the Brent benchmark in 2020 prices will cost $ 35, but taking into account inflation, its cost will be $ 120, the rest will be made up of the emissions fee.

Under the Equilibrium scenario, the price of oil in 2050 will be $ 197 per barrel. At current prices, the cost of oil will be $ 40, inflation will be the same amount, and the rest will be the payment for emissions.

In early December, Deutsche Bank analysts calculated that oil prices next year could fall below $ 60 per barrel. This could be due to a significant increase in excess supply, even if the OPEC + countries postpone their planned production increases until April.
