Three days for the price of two months. How much does the New Year cost in the Moscow region

Many Russians spend the New Year in popular tourist cities. Most often, the choice of Russians falls on Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, the Golden Ring of Russia, resort areas. Renting an apartment this year has risen in price in many regions. At the same time, renting housing on holidays will cost about two to three times more than on other days, CIAN analysts calculated. New Year's holidays are a popular time to travel around the country. Many Russians go to popular tourist cities and rent housing there. This year, daily rent of an apartment will cost about two to three times more than on other days, CIAN analysts calculated (the material is at the disposal of Gazeta.Ru).

Traditionally, Russians travel to Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities with a population of over one million. Popular destinations include the Golden Ring, the Kaliningrad Region, seaside resorts and resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters, as well as "winter" areas - Veliky Ustyug and Murmansk.

Interest in travel has grown this year, as restrictions due to coronavirus are not as strict as last year, the CIAN noted. Thus, the number of ad views for the year on average increased by a quarter. In Moscow, this indicator increased by 15%, in St. Petersburg - by 30%, in other cities - by 5-30%.

Against this background, the cost of rent has grown. Thus, the average price tag in all cities with a population of one million increased by 9% over the year.

Most of all, the rental rate rose in Moscow and Kazan (17%), St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod (15%). The demand for Nizhny Novgorod this year has grown especially due to the fact that it was declared the "New Year's capital of Russia - 2022", analysts added. Rental rates here have grown stronger than the average for other millionaires.

The most expensive accommodation will cost in Moscow and St. Petersburg - 7.9 and 5.8 thousand rubles. per day, respectively. They are followed by Kazan - 5 thousand rubles. per day.

Rostov-on-Don (4.6 thousand rubles per day), Nizhny Novgorod (4.4 thousand rubles), Novosibirsk (4.4 thousand rubles) are also included in the top ten for the cost of housing among cities with a population of over one million, Krasnoyarsk (4.2 thousand rubles), Yekaterinburg (4.2 thousand rubles), Krasnodar (4.1 thousand rubles) and Ufa (4.0 thousand rubles).

Another popular option is a vacation outside the city. In the Moscow region, it will not be cheap: the base rental rate on New Year's holidays here increases three to four times, noted in the CIAN.

According to analysts, the rent of housing outside the city will cost about 50-70 thousand rubles. per day. Cottages there, as a rule, are rented for at least three days, so you need to budget about 150-200 thousand rubles. “In the summer, for this amount, you can live in a house for an average of two months (subject to long-term lease),” the CIAN said.

However, experts added that the range of prices is quite large, and it all depends on the particular house and the services offered.

In the Leningrad Region, the rental price is lower: here three days will cost about 90-120 thousand rubles, although the range of prices is also significant.

Avito.Nedvizhimost reported that the Moscow Region, Leningrad Region, Krasnodar Territory and Crimea are the most popular for renting suburban housing, and the demand for them has grown this year.

Housing rental in the Moscow region will cost an average of 7 thousand rubles. per day (the price remained the same), in the Leningrad region - about 5 thousand rubles. per day (+ 11% compared to last year), in the Krasnodar Territory - 4 thousand rubles. (+ 14%), in Crimea - 3.5 thousand rubles. (+ 17%), said the head of the short-term rental department of Avito. Real Estate »Artem Kromochkin.

The expert added that before the New Year, rental rates increase by an average of 20-30%, and directly on the holiday itself, it can already be twice as high as the original, so it is recommended to book housing in advance.

Resort towns, Golden Ring, Kaliningrad

In the Krasnodar Territory, daily rent for the year has risen in price in all resorts - by an average of 14%, except for Sochi. In this city, prices are already quite high, but this year it has to withstand competition with foreign resorts: for example, instead of Sochi, you can fly to Egypt, the CIAN explained.

In Sochi, the average rental rate for the New Year is 6.7 thousand rubles. per day, in Gelendzhik - 6.5 thousand rubles, in Anapa - 5.2 thousand rubles.

Housing prices have also risen in the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters: rental prices here have grown by 21% on average over the year. In Kislovodsk the average rental rates are 4.5 thousand rubles, Pyatigorsk - 4.4 thousand rubles, Mineralnye Vody - 3.9 thousand rubles, Essentuki - 3.7 thousand rubles.

You can have a fairly budgetary rest in the cities of the Golden Ring (Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal, Vladimir), the CIAN noted. Here the average rental rate is 4.4 thousand rubles. per day. The most expensive rent will be in Yaroslavl and Suzdal (4.8 thousand rubles each). In the Kaliningrad region, which is also popular with tourists, daily rent will cost about 5 thousand rubles. At Father Frost's homeland - in Veliky Ustyug - rental rates are about the same - 5 thousand rubles. In Murmansk, where you can see the northern lights, you can rent an apartment for an average of 3.2 thousand rubles.

“One of the ways to save money is to rent housing for a longer period (for a week or all ten holidays), in which case the owners usually provide a discount. During this time, you can arrange a full-fledged trip, the main thing is to clarify the list of existing restrictive measures for a specific region, ”recommended Aleksey Popov, head of CIAN Analytics.
