A draft law on this was approved at a meeting of the Russian Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labor Relations.

It is noted that this will allow the state to provide support in the employment of a larger number of citizens, as well as reduce the number of unemployed Russians. At the same time, the regions will be given the right to approve a list of professions for which workers will not be able to be involved in other areas, if such specialists are in demand on their territory.

According to Rostrud, only in the first five months of this year 1.6 million people applied for assistance in finding a suitable job, 71.5 thousand of whom expressed a desire to work outside their region.

Employment throughout the country through the Employment Centers became possible due to the fact that they began to work on a single digital platform "Work in Russia". This allowed them to exchange data with each other, plan the attraction of labor resources, and analyze the situation on the labor market. In addition, citizens can already receive most of the services in employment centers remotely through the portal of state services or in their personal account on the Work in Russia website.
