An academy was created in Russia to train investors

The Academy of Investments, a platform for educating investors from Tinkoff, has appeared in Russia, which is aimed at increasing the financial literacy of the country's residents. The Academy will develop jointly with market participants and the regulator. It will collect courses in finance and educational projects from Tinkoff Investments, economic departments of universities, major analytical companies and investment houses.

“We see that people are striving to acquire new knowledge in the field of finance and investment: there is a demand for high-quality and understandable educational programs. In 2020, as part of the implementation of our ESG strategy, we launched the Invest textbook: since its launch, more than 3.6 million people have studied it, and 1.7 million have completed the course and passed the exam. The launch of a new educational initiative was a logical continuation of the development of all Tinkoff Investments projects aimed at increasing the level of investment literacy in the country. The Investment Academy will become an analogue of Coursera in the world of finance and investment and will combine various formats of educational content with free access for those who seek to gain new knowledge and learn how to manage personal finances, ”said Dmitry Panchenko, Director of Tinkoff Investments.

The Investment Academy contains adapted programs for various groups of the population: schoolchildren, students, specialists, and older people.

Users of the platform will have access to various educational materials about the stock market, financial instruments, macroeconomics and analytics in the form of podcasts, video tutorials and in other formats. The company notes that the resource will be constantly updated with new courses and other formats of educational content.

The courses and projects of the "Academy" will be available to all residents of the country. The educational initiative was launched as part of Tinkoff Investments' ESG strategy aimed at increasing the financial literacy of the Russian population. For the development of the "Academy" in "Tinkoff Investments" a methodological center was created - the Department of Knowledge, which will be engaged in the development of educational programs.

Tinkoff Investments continues to develop various formats of educational initiatives aimed at improving financial literacy, such as: the social network for investors Pulse - currently it has more than 1.6 million registered users; the Greedy Investor podcast, which has been watched by over 1 million people; YouTube projects “Money Doesn't Sleep” - 28 million views, Tinkoff Private Talks - 1.4 million views, “Investica” - 1.7 million views and a new show “Investments in a Big City”.
