The department clarified that already from January 2022, large families will be able to apply for payments to pay off the mortgage through public services.

"From January 2022, large families will be able to apply for a payment of 450 thousand rubles to pay off a mortgage through a single portal of state and municipal services. The Ministry of Finance of Russia has prepared such a decree, it is signed by the government of the Russian Federation," RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance.

It is noted that until now, in order to receive such a payment, citizens had to apply with an application and a set of documents to the credit organization, where the mortgage was issued. The lender sent a request to DOM.RF, which is the operator of the program. After checking the bank's application and a set of documents, the funds for repayment of the mortgage were sent to the credit organization for subsequent payment to the citizen.

The Ministry of Finance explained that now the process of obtaining state support will be accelerated. Parents with many children will be able to send an electronic application and scans of the documents required for payment directly to DOM.RF at any time through their personal account on the public services portal.

Recall that large families with mortgage loans can receive from the state an amount of up to 450 thousand rubles or in the amount of the loan balance, if it is less than this amount. You can apply for this amount if the third or subsequent child was born in 2019-2022. Over the two years that this support measure has been in effect, 227,000 large families have received financial assistance in repaying mortgages. More than 100 billion rubles were transferred to them. Thanks to this payment, about 11.5 thousand families were able to fully repay the loan.
