Russia - The winners of the project The Best Guide of Russia have been announced

Russia (bbabo.net), - The jury of the "Best Guide of Russia" announced the names of the winners. The competition was established in 2017 by the Russian Geographical Society, the My Planet TV channel and the Mayak radio. Designed to find the best of the best among professional guides and amateurs, among adults and adolescents (12 years and older), citizens of Russia and foreigners (but video tours are only about Russia and in Russian). This year, the best guides are:

In the "City" nomination

1st place - Denis Zotkin for a video about an unusual monument to the blockade stickleback in Kronstadt;

II place - Vitaly Vlasov for a video tour of the sights of Vyborg;

3rd place - Vitaly Kalashnikov with a video about the Moscow chambers that have survived from the 17th century.

In the "Museum" nomination

1st place - Ksenia Artemyeva from Irkutsk for the video about "The Museum in the Landfill";

II place - Kirill Barkin from Arzamas for a story about the Museum of the Russian Patriarchate;

III place - Natalya Kolova from the city of Semyonov for a video tour of the local history and art museum.

In the category "Ecotourism"

I place - Alexander Permyakov for a vivid story about the Altai Geopark;

II place - Roman Egorov for a video dedicated to the village of Teriberka (Murmansk region);

III place - Yaroslav Zhirkov from Volgograd for a video about the natural attractions of the Volgograd region.

In the "Under 18" nomination

1st place - Matvey Kochergin from Omsk for a story about the track of the Siberian International Marathon;

II place - Anna Zhludova for a tour of the Catherine Park in the city of Pushkin;

III place - Anna Popova from St. Petersburg for a video about the estate of Grand Duke Boris Vladimirovich.

In the nomination "Nizhny Novgorod"

I place - Evgeny Pavlov for the story about the falling bell tower of the Ascension Pechersky Monastery;

II place - Elena Repina for a video tour about the tourist places of Nizhny Novgorod;

The third place was shared by Sergey Sevastyanov from Nizhny Novgorod for a video about the Volga bank and Anatoly Shkil with a story about the Chkalovskaya stairs.

According to the terms of the competition, the participants of the "Best Guide" had to conduct a mini-tour of local attractions within two minutes and send a video in MP4 format. From one participant - no more than three stories. In total, 876 videos were sent to the 2021 competition from all over Russia - from the Kaliningrad Region to the Primorsky Territory. As noted in O, the most popular was the "City" nomination: almost half of the total number of videos was devoted to central streets, city attractions and architecture. Many videos were filmed with action cameras, the participants skillfully used computer graphics and animation inserts. Many, in order to draw attention to their story, conducted excursions on a bicycle, scooter and even in a hot air balloon, changed into historical and national costumes, performed ritual dances, folk songs, and rapped. While the winners are bathed in glory and receive congratulations. The date of their awarding will be announced later.

The adult winners of the main nominations will receive 100 thousand rubles each, and the owners of the second and third places will be awarded diplomas and mementos (books and souvenirs) from the Russian Geographical Society.

In addition, all the "Best Russian Guides" in 2021 will become heroes of the TV project on the "My Planet" channel. The partners of the competition also summed up their own results: tour operators TUI | FUN & SUN and Coral Travel, as well as the mobile operator MTS. Vitaly Kalashnikov and Alexander Varlamov will receive certificates for travel to Sochi and Lake Baikal, and the author of the most technologically advanced video, Alexander Permyakov, will undergo an internship in Moscow in the direction of digital tourism.

By the way, the next contest "The Best Guide of Russia", which will take place in the coming year, will be the fifth one in a row. Although the date is not "loud", the organizers are already thinking about ideas and nominations that will attract new participants. Among such ideas is to single out online excursions in a separate category. Such a proposal was made by the famous travel blogger Bogdan Bulychev.

The President of the Nizhny Novgorod guild of guides Ekaterina Leshchanova proposed to include in the competition-2022 the nomination "Industrial Tourism".

And finally, the most delicious initiative. Zetta Ermakova, President of the Association of Guides-Translators, Tour Guides and Tour Managers of Sochi, took the initiative to film and send video tours dedicated to gastronomic tourism to the competition.
