Subsidies for non-working days in Russia in the amount of 30.5 billion rubles. issued 2.38 million to employees

Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatyana Ilyushnikova said that 2.38 million employees working in Russian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as socially oriented NGOs, received subsidies for non-working days. As the TASS official said, the total amount of funds issued amounted to 30.5 billion rubles.

Subsidies were issued at the rate of one minimum wage (12,792 rubles) per employee. To obtain them, an application was required. Applications were accepted from November 1 to December 15 on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The list of industries affected by the pandemic includes 21 business areas.

2 million 383 thousand people who received material support represent over 620 thousand companies, individual entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations. The latter, according to Ilyushnikova, accounted for 10% of payments.

Earlier, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Sergei Katasonov (LDPR) submitted to the State Duma a bill providing for the zeroing of rates on property taxes for organizations and individuals and on land tax for the duration of restrictive measures. But the interlocutors are sure that any attempts to reduce the tax burden on business are doomed to failure.
