Russia - the Cabinet of Ministers will allocate 1.8 billion rubles for the modernization of the compulsory medical insurance information system

Russia (bbabo.net) - 1.8 billion rubles will be allocated to modernize the state information system of compulsory health insurance, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

GIS OMS was launched this year, it is designed to record information about medical care, control the efficiency and quality of its provision, as well as reporting. Within the framework of the system, it is planned to launch a single portal of compulsory health insurance to increase the availability and openness of information about compulsory health insurance.

Mishustin said that the modernization involves the organization of interaction between the GIS CHI and the unified state information system in the field of healthcare.

"This will help to quickly resolve issues related to the provision of free medical care to citizens, simplify the interaction of participants in the compulsory health insurance system, which means it will increase the availability of medical care for citizens," the prime minister was quoted as saying.
