Starting from January 1, employment centers in 79 Russian regions will switch to a new work format, within a year - all the rest, and the modernization of employment centers in Moscow will be completed.

It will be possible to register as an unemployed remotely

It is possible to obtain official unemployment status in modernized employment centers without personal contact. The application is submitted remotely through the portal of public services or a single platform "Work in Russia", on the basis of which all employment centers in the country will have to work. No more documents are required. For example, you do not need to provide a work book, educational documents, a certificate of disability, a certificate of income, on the basis of which the amount of unemployment benefits is calculated. Employment centers will be able to clarify all the necessary information about the applicant on their own when interacting with various services and departments.

Most of the services of employment centers will become electronic

For example, the unemployed have been removed from the obligation to personally come to the labor inspector and sign for receipt of payment. Citizens will simply be notified of their recognition as unemployed and the appointment of unemployment benefits. Employment centers should do this through the portal of state services, as well as in the personal account on the portal "Work in Russia". They will also offer vacancies to citizens remotely. As before, a new place of work should be selected so that it corresponds to the profession, qualifications, state of human health, and is in transport accessibility. Conditions should not be worse than at the previous place of work. An unemployed person can refuse offered vacancies no more than two times, otherwise he will lose the right to benefits.

Employment centers will help to find work in another region

It is planned that in 2022 it will be possible to find work in another region through the employment centers. In addition, they will assist applicants and their family members in moving to a permanent place of residence in another area. A bill on this is being prepared by the government for submission to the State Duma, previously it was approved by the Russian Trilateral Commission. At the same time, the regions will be given the right to approve a list of professions for which workers will not be able to be involved in other areas, if such specialists are in demand on their territory.

Unemployed people will be helped to get a new profession

Free of charge from the federal budget funds to improve their qualifications or learn a new profession in 2022 will be able to unemployed from the most vulnerable categories of citizens in the labor market under the age of 35 who, after completing their studies or military services for more than four months cannot find work, young people without vocational or higher education who are at risk of dismissal, students of the last courses of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, if there is no suitable job for them in their specialty, young mothers with children under the age of seven years.

In addition, citizens over 50 will still have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge at the expense of the state. The Ministry of Labor drew attention to the fact that after retraining, citizens will be helped to find a job or open their own business.

All educational programs are formed taking into account the situation on the labor market, and therefore may differ in the regions. This will make it possible to prepare citizens for the needs of employers.
