Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for using foul language against the opposition and said the latter had lost his peace of mind as he fears imminent defeat in the ongoing Bihar state polls.

“Now what is Modi doing today? He often abuses the Grand Secular Alliance wherever he holds his election rallies. He calls us ‘Shaitan’ [devil], ‘tantrik’ and ‘Three Idiots’. That doesn’t suit the stature of someone holding high office,” the Gandhi scion said, addressing a series of election rallies in Bihar on Thursday.

He said the Prime Minister had turned angry after realising that his party was badly losing elections in Bihar despite all his efforts.
