- According to clause 178, it is necessary to transport children in a car equipped with seat belts using: child restraints appropriate for the weight and height of the child - under the age of 5 years; child restraints corresponding to the weight and height of the child, other means (boosters, special seat cushions, extra seats) that allow you to safely fasten the child using the seat belts provided for by the design of the vehicle - at the age of 5 to 12 years.

It is permissible to transport children under 12 years of age without the use of child restraints if the height of the child exceeds 150 cm, as well as in a taxi car. It is forbidden to transport minors in the front seat of a car using child restraints that are appropriate for the weight and height of the child, the back of which is turned towards the windshield, if the front seat has an airbag. The exception here is when the front airbag mechanism is disabled.
