The first Turkish-Armenian talks on the normalization of relations were held in Moscow

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The first talks on the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia were held in Moscow on Friday.

Information about their content is not disclosed, it is only known that the meeting of special representatives Serdar Kylych and Ruben Rubinyan lasted an hour and a half.

Kilich is a former Turkish ambassador to the United States, Rubinyan is the deputy chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia.

On the eve of the talks, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, speaking in parliament, noted the beginning of a new period in relations with Yerevan.

Following the meeting, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the negotiations of the special representatives were held in a positive atmosphere. A positive assessment of the talks was also given in Yerevan, noting the need to continue them.
