Trinidad and Tobago Will Host Caribbean Development Forum

Trinidad and Tobago will host a forum to identify current challenges in the area and strategies to follow in order to guarantee sustainable development, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) announced.
The forum will have sessions from May 5th to 7th and will gather Heads of State, businessmen, intellectuals and social organizations representatives, as well as delegates from international organizations.

Participants will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of current development policies in order to design a post-2015 model that revitalizes economies, enables sustainability and improves quality of life in the region. Other issues to be discussed include poverty, social inequalities, resource distributions and vulnerabilities in the Caribbean nations.
