Moldova (bbabo.net) - Here is the first joint operation of the new defense alliance AUKUS, created last year, which may go down in history as Operation Breakout from the Kiev Cauldron. The United States, Great Britain and Australia announce the beginning of a partial withdrawal of diplomatic workers and their families from Kiev. That is, the West has no hope that Ukraine will be able to defend European democracy with its own breast, and at the same time its sovereignty. And he decided to act preventively.
Against the background of reports about the strengthening of the NATO grouping in Eastern Europe, the news about the evacuation of diplomats looks like some kind of informational madness. Obviously, there is no practical need to evacuate embassies today. First, while negotiations between Russia and the United States on security guarantees continue. To unleash a war before their end is somehow illogical. Secondly, only the inflamed NATO mind, which periodically practices such “democratic” invasions, can imagine the carpet bombing of Kiev, which could also fall under Western diplomatic missions.
In fact, of course, in the North Atlantic Alliance, as well as in AUKUS, they perfectly understand that there is no threat to diplomats in the foreseeable future. The removal of civil servants and their families is rather an informational and psychological effect, the purpose of which is to increase the feeling of an impending threat from the “Russian bear”. And to create from Moscow a peremptory image of an insidious aggressor in case of a conflict with Ukraine. Which can begin only in one case - if Zelensky ventures into a military adventure in the Donbass. Russian officials have repeatedly made it clear that they will not stand aside.
At the same time, of course, the Afghan trauma had not yet healed in the West, when the evacuation turned into a shameful flight with the betrayal of its former allies and an impartial picture on TV. So they are trying to "override".
There is also a concomitant, not very obvious effect of this "tactical retreat" - economic. The evacuation of diplomatic missions is a clear signal to investors: withdraw your assets, dump Russian shares ... And now the ruble is flying down at the speed of an air bomb, followed by the domestic stock market.
At the same time, Ukraine looks like a dumbass who, instead of declaring martial law, breaking off diplomatic relations with Russia and strengthening the border with it, is driving all its combat-ready units into the “Great Donbas Cauldron”. Which Russian troops, judging by the maps published in the west, will bypass from the north, east and south.
