US senator reacted to Psaki's accusations after his words about Ukraine

Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley said that if the situation in Ukraine ever worsens, the responsibility will lie with United States President Joe Biden. This was reported on the politician's Twitter profile.

The US senator responded to criticism of his position on the inexpediency of sending troops to Ukraine and its admission to NATO, received from the White House representative Jen Psaki.

"No amount of personalization will hide his [Biden's] miserable failures," Hawley said.

The Republican senator also accused the US authorities of allowing the Nord Stream 2 pipeline to be completed.

Also, in his opinion, the failure of the administration of the 46th president is associated with untimely assistance to Kiev.

Earlier, the Pentagon allowed sending additional US forces to Ukraine. Nearly 2,000 troops are soon to be transferred to Europe as reinforcements under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Alliance (a collective response in the event of an armed attack on one or more countries).
