The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Natalya Nikonorova, said that Kiev had deployed 120,000 troops to the line of contact in Donbass. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
She noted that intelligence provided such data. Thus, Nikonorova answered the question about the number of personnel of the Ukrainian security forces deployed to the line of contact between the parties.
Earlier, Nikonorova said that the supply of weapons to Kiev by Western countries lead to new shelling in the Donbass.
Prior to this, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with CNN that the transfer of US troops to Europe is proof that Russia has cause for concern. He noted that Washington continues to escalate tension in the region.
Since the fall of last year, the Western media, as well as in Ukraine, have been claiming that Russia is allegedly preparing a “large-scale invasion” of Ukraine. In Moscow, such allegations have been repeatedly rejected.
