In Poland called the date of arrival of additional forces of the US army

The arrival of additional US forces in Poland is expected within a few weeks, the infrastructure for their deployment is already ready. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Polish Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that about 5.5 thousand American soldiers are currently in Poland.

Earlier, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said that the United States would soon send additional military forces to Romania, Poland and Germany. According to him, forces are sent to the region "not forever" and the decision is "a reaction to the current situation." Kirby emphasized that the sending of forces was necessary in order to support the allies in Europe.

In recent months, statements have been made in the West and Ukraine in particular about Russia's allegedly impending "invasion" of Ukraine. In turn, the Kremlin more than once directly denied any plans to attack Ukraine, on the contrary, pointing to the possible preparation of a military operation in the Donbass by Kiev.
