Russia - New COVID-19 restrictions introduced in Chukotka

Russia (bbabo.net), - Additional anti-covid restrictions have been introduced in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. According to government decree, they will operate until the end of winter.

Cinemas, cultural centers, other entertainment venues, as well as fitness and gyms, baths and saunas will only be able to operate at 50 percent occupancy. The same applies to various sections in social organizations, cultural and sports institutions. At the same time, their employees and all visitors must have a vaccination QR code.

Public catering establishments will not be able to work at night - from 23:00 to 06:00.

"Express testing will continue at airports for citizens arriving in Chukotka from other regions of Russia and then following to other settlements in the region," the press service of the district government reports.

The requirement for mandatory PCR testing of shift workers for coronavirus remains. Employers in Anadyr, Pevek, Bilibino and the village of Coal Mines are recommended to test all employees for coronavirus weekly.

In addition, medical examinations and preventive medical examinations of children and adults are suspended. The Anadyr District Psychoneurological Boarding School is going into quarantine until March 2 inclusive.
