Russia (bbabo.net) - Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov read the original text of Washington's and NATO's responses to security guarantee proposals received by Moscow and did not compare it to the leak in the Spanish newspaper El Pais. He stated this at a briefing for journalists, answering questions on this topic.

"I heard that the materials were leaked to the Spanish media. But I read these documents in the original. And, to be honest, I did not compare the documents we received from the United States and NATO with this leak," Ushakov specified.

"I hope it's the same," he added.

Recall that the newspaper cited documents allegedly the US and NATO's response to Russia's proposals for security guarantees, from which it follows that they do not agree with Moscow's key demands to stop the expansion of the Alliance to the east and return its military infrastructure to the 1997 borders.
