Yuri Butusov, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian publication Censor.net, advised Ukraine to conduct special operations to eliminate the leadership of Crimea. He wrote about this Facebook.
According to him, in this way Kiev will be able to “asymmetrically” resist Russia.
According to Butusov, the Ukrainian authorities should resume conducting special intelligence operations of the country "with the aim of destroying and kidnapping Russian leaders in the occupied territories of Donbass, Crimea and Transnistria."
He also said that it is necessary to completely block Transnistria and arrange a rebellion in this territory with the help of Ukrainian special services and the military.
Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov said that Kiev is currently unable to return Crimea by military means. According to him, the authorities will seek the return of the peninsula to Ukraine, a strategy has been developed for this.
Prior to this, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny assured that Kiev was not preparing for a military operation in the Donbass or Crimea.
In March 2014, a referendum was held in Crimea, as a result of which the peninsula became a territorial part of Russia, and Sevastopol became a city of federal significance.
