Kiev put forward an ultimatum to Moscow due to the aggravation on the border

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demanded that Russia explain in detail the actions near the Ukrainian border and in Crimea. This was announced on Twitter by the head of the Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba.

According to the Vienna Document (we are talking about an agreement within the OSCE, signed among others by Moscow and Kiev in 2011 - ed. note), Russia must provide detailed explanations about the goals, the exact location and timing of the end of its military operations, as well as the appointment, subordination, the number and types of formations, as well as the types of equipment involved, ”the message says.

Kuleba added that the Russian Federation has 48 hours to provide a response.

“In the absence of a response or the provision of insufficient or inadequate information, Ukraine will turn to the Russian Federation and other states parties to the Vienna Document to convene an emergency meeting, at which the Russian Federation will have to provide an explanation,” he added in the next publication.

The Minister stressed that Ukraine will continue to ensure its security, using "all diplomatic opportunities."

Earlier, the Japanese Foreign Ministry called on citizens to leave Ukraine, raising the level of the threat of being in Ukraine to the fourth maximum. Japan insists on the departure of citizens from Ukraine due to "the ongoing increase in tension on the Ukrainian-Russian border," the diplomats explained.
