Kuleba appreciated Biden's call to urgently leave Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that the call by US President Joe Biden to US citizens to immediately leave Ukraine does not indicate a radical change in the situation, according to the Politics of the Country Telegram channel.

According to him, these calls are not related to the “general situation in the country” and there is nothing new in them. He recalled that the United States had previously announced the evacuation of members of the embassy's families.

On February 11, Biden urged Americans to leave Ukraine "right now."

“It's not like we're dealing with a terrorist organization. [But] we are dealing with one of the largest armies in the world. This is completely different, and the situation can get out of control very quickly,” the American leader said.

He stressed that American troops would not be able to assist in the evacuation of US citizens, because under no circumstances would they be on Ukrainian territory.

Prior to this, in January, the US State Department allowed the evacuation of embassy staff from Kiev due to growing tensions around Ukraine, following these reports, other countries, in particular Germany and Great Britain, began to evacuate their diplomats.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called these actions of foreign states a mistake.
