The Russian authorities regret that the meeting of political advisers of the Normandy Four, which took place in Germany, turned out to be fruitless, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President. It is reported by TASS

“For example, you and I all witnessed how yesterday, unfortunately, another meeting of political advisers of the Normandy Four ended without results. Here, unfortunately, this is the situation, this is the reality in which we have to work..,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.

According to him, there is now hope for diplomats, who are likely to continue to proactively defend Russia's interests.

According to Peskov, diplomats will continue to have to explain to interlocutors from other countries the geographic, geopolitical and other realities of the Russian Federation.

The main task is to ensure the implementation of the Minsk package of measures, prescribed in a certain sequence, Peskov drew attention to. The participants in the last talks in Berlin were unable to cope with the task at hand.
